Our mission is
to educate and equip conservatives with basic information on political
issues and provide an outlet to send letters to the editor (LTE)
in their communities supporting President Bush and other Christian conservative candidates within our county and state. With a vision to awaken the conscience of
America, we believe in the same providential principle of our
Founding Fathers: "The pen is mightier than the sword." And it is through writing the same simple, but
timeless principles of truth, either in short letters to the editor or opinion editorial essays -- an avenue of writing which we have chosen -- in hopes to stir the conscience of citizens
who will rise up and take an active part in the politcal process.
This site provides access to many helpful links to learn about candidates,
issues, and political educational information locally: Gainesville; Alachua
County; the state of Florida; and nationally. Also, we provide links
to sites that teach about our American Christian Heritage and Christian
character-based educational philosophies. If you choose to join our
listserv, you will receive action alterts for writing letters to the editor and current political
issues needing our attention in Gainesville; Alachua County, Florida, and our nation. With each LTE issue alert, a sample letter or an outline with source
documents will be provided. Also, we post "ACTION/ALERT" information
from The Christian Coalition of Florida, Citizens for a Sound Economy
(CSE), and other great conservative resources regarding issues
needing our legislators' attention.
